New name and new goals for 2011

As 2010 winds down, I decided to change the name of the blog and broaden the scope of what I want to do with it. With my two faithful followers, I hope to come up with more activities and posts for 2011.

Happy New Year everyone and celebrate safely.

The cast consists of three - four men and one woman with character ages of 30+. The show will be presented November 19-20, 26-27 & December 2-4, 9-11, 2010.

Show description: “Marley was dead, to begin with.” So begins the inspired and charming telling of this Christmas story. Scrooge’s mean, sour old business partner sets out to escape the chains and shackles of a hellish eternity by opening Ebenezer’s heart... in doing so, he opens his own.

Ski Club

With summer wrapping up, my thoughts are already focused on skiing and snowboarding this winter! Yeah, I'm going to give snowboarding a try again, but with a little more padding in the right places this time...

Tim and I will be forming a ski/snowboard group this year and we anticipate several evening trips to Welch Village and some weekends also. Welch Village has Night Club season passes available for $119.00 for the 2010-2011 ski season. You would only have to ski three times during the winter season to recoup your investment. This pass is valid 7 nights a week, after 4:00pm. If you present your pass before 4:00pm, you can receive a lift ticket for full day pass for only $25! Rental equipment is not included.

If you don't like to ski, but would like to join us, we typically ski several runs then visit our favorite pub, Madd Jaxx at the bottom of the hill to warm up throughout the evening!

Happy Hour(s)

Join the locals every Thursday from 5pm to 7pm at Rookies Sports Grill & Bar for cheap drinks and half-price appetizers!

Natural Causes

"When suicide is the order of the day, Vincent is a man who can assure the perfect, painless ending." The Rochester Repertory Theatre's next performance, Natural Causes is an evening filled with mistaken identities, unsigned suicide notes, an attractive secretary, hilarious consequences, sly wit and laughter! The play opens opens September 11th, 2010. We will be getting a group together for one of the performances in September for a little dinner and theatre. Details to follow!

What is this and who is this guy?

I had this idea today. What if there was a blog where I could find out what is going on in Rochester, surrounding communities and maybe even the cities? A blog that has information on events, theatre, shopping, places to eat, drink and be "Mary". And not just that, how about information on who to call for a pet sitter, plumber and other businesses that are GLBT friendly? Well, I'm going to attempt just that and with your help, comments, suggestions, we can build a network that everyone can go to for up-to-date information!

Oh, and who am I? Come back later and find out more...
